Wedding Menus and Place Cards

My friend Alexandra got married this weekend here in Germany. I was honored to be her Maid of Honor (Trauzeugin in German) She had a beautiful wedding and I'm still beaming from what a wonderful weekend it was. I designed her invitations and all the table setting items (table numbers, menus and place cards.) I'm really happy with how everything turned out. It was especially easy because Alex and her Husband were such easy 'clients' My Fiancè got this picture of the cards after all of  the tables were set. I printed everything out on our little HP 960 inkjet, and used some really nice Canson paper, which made all the difference.

Creative Inspiration 2010 Printable Calendar

I thought this would be simple, but it took me forever to get this 2010 printable calendar finished! Last Minute Birthday Cards

One of the best things about printables is they are great for procrastinators or people who are forgetful or spaced out. I fit into both these categories. How many times have you realized you need a birthday card at the last minute, or better yet a last-minute valentine? Having a few printable pdfs around for repeat occasions (like birthdays) can be a real life saver. The image shown here, our shapes and lines printable birthday card is my stand-by. I love the card (my aunt who runs Goodform Design designed it) I usually have a few on hand already printed, but if not I just print it out, fold it and throw it in an envelope and I'm good to go.

Back from India

I just got back from a week long business trip to India. I spent all of my time in a place called Gurgoan, which is basically a sprawling office park/boom town right outside of New Delhi. Saw lots of beautiful typography, art and the like but had no time to take photos or go to markets. I found an Indian Etsy seller Kkrishna who sells some nice Indian paper products though. Enjoy.
