I tend to pig out at social events, like my book club or any kind of party where there is a buffet. So now, when I'm asked to bring something, I try and opt for something healthy rather than look at it as an excuse to bring something sinful.
I've loved this recipe since my girlhood, the first time Francie, one of my moms made it. It's easy to make, a total crowd pleaser and while it's not a diet dish it's certainly much lighter than chips, guac or any of the other typical items you might find at a party spread.
