Drumroll Please! The Patrick Reagh Printers Website

Pat Reagh Printers Letterpress Website

I've been promising my dad a website for a loooong time. Earlier this year we finally did it. Together, we launched a website for his letterpress printing business, please welcome Patrickreagh.com!

I gave a lot of thought about which platform would be the easiest to use and maintain. The website also needed to be able to include a feed to the Patrick Reagh Letterpress ebay store as well as be responsive. I settled on Squarespace (no affiliation!). I had used it before to quickly build a site for a friend and it was pretty easy to use. They've really upped their game with the latest release and their templates are all top notch.

It was a lot of fun to make. My dad really got into it, digging out old pictures of him using his press as a kid and scanning it for the about page. We did several photo shoots setting up his metal type and books to photograph. Once I showed him the basics of using the Squarespace back end, he was off to the races.

About Patrick Reagh

The best thing about the project was working together. It reminded me a lot of the time we spent together in the shop making our wedding invitations. I've found that working together is not only a bonding experience, but the best way to get to know someone (I met my husband at work!).

Anyway, take a look at the site and enjoy. Coming soon: The Pat Reagh Printers Blog!
