As some of you know, last year I quit my corporate day job. While I was way overdue to leave, I learned a lot in my ten years there. In the last year and half or so that I've gotten more deeply involved with the world of indie-business and Etsy, I've realized just how much I've learned. When I published this blog post about how I manage my time I got a lot of interest, I also belong to a couple of forums where I've been able to share what I've learned about project management and productivity over the years.
It occured to me that this might make an interesting topic for the Hello Etsy conference that will take place in Berlin this September. The folks at Etsy agreed, and I'll be giving a talk on project management for indie and small creative businesses the talk is called 'Steal This Process: What I Learned Working for The Man and How You Can Apply it to Your Indie Business' and that's exactly what it is. If you happen to be in Berlin then, swing by!
You can also get a sneak peak of some of the topics I'll be addressing in my weekly column over at Scoutie Girl Blog.
