I finally got our Save The Dates out for our wedding ceremony. I'm really happy with the way they turned out. This will be our second 'wedding' - We had our civil ceremony and a dinner here in Munich, and in California we'll actually walk down the aisle and exchange vows in a garden ceremony at my parent's home.
We used Mail Chimp for the Save the Dates (I highly recommend using doing digital save the dates!), but the invitations will be letterpress (compliments of my Dad) and I'm going to do all the extras myself, so: printable menus, printable escort cards, printable table nubers etc. The background texture is a scan of chipboard, which is what we used for the Munich wedding invitations.
It took me this second time around to really produce what I had in my imagination, there were some lessons learned from the first invite that informed the color selection, and the garden theme, rather than the Munich theme was in some ways much easier to find art for. Once all the pieces for both weddings are produced I think they'll make for a great photo shoot.
I'm pretty sure I'm also going to turn this into a printable wedding invitation kit.
